Learn to be Lean

Lean

There can be a perception when talking about "Lean" that it only relates to manufacturing. Lean is applicable to "Any" business where there is a process. At JRC our belief is that any company not matter its size, can benefit from the Lean philosophy. People are at the core of a companies success and certainly their most valuable asset they possess. The Lean philosophy is a mindset, harnessing skills and knowledge of the workforce with the support of the Lean toolbox to continuously improve the people place and processes.

Lean Mindset – Imagine if you had a workforce that was fully engaged, involved and felt able to contribute ideas, suggestions and support to the business success. They are willing to listen, open to change and happy to implement new ideas. People (any companies most valuable asset) need to be engaged, want to part of the change process  rather than be told to just do it!

Lean Toolbox – There are many tools in the “Lean toolbox”. Each tool has an individual purpose, they can be used on their own or in conjunction with each other to gather data, brainstorm for ideas, problem solve and create solutions for implementation. In other words continuously improve!

Clients Input – Understanding the clients needs is our first priority. After initial conversation with the client, which may include a site visit, we would mutually agree the course content and delivery timing. It is imperative from the very beginning that senior management fully buy into the purpose and outcomes of the training.

Positive Learning Atmosphere – It is important for people to learn through participation, working together as a team with practical application of the theory being trained. We take a light hearted approach to put the trainees at ease, which creates an environment that enables everyone to fully participate and contribute.
